Q:  Should I notify the school when my child is going to be absent?

A:  We ask that parents call the school on the day a child is ill/absent in order to avoid receiving the automated call.  If you know ahead of time that your child will be absent from school, you are welcome to send a note to the teacher so that our records can be updated.

Q:  Do I need to send in a note after my child has been absent?

A:  Yes, please send in a note to your child's teacher upon their return to school.  Include your child's first and last name, along with the dates and reason for the absence.  If your child went to the doctor for their illness, you may provide documentation from the doctor stating the dates and reason the child was out and the absence will be marked excused.

Q
:  Do you offer before and/or afterschool care?

A:  Yes, before and afterschool care is available at J/J for grades 3, 4, and 5.  Please contact the CHAMPS Office at 508-261-7539 for more information.

Q:  Is there a Lost & Found at school?

A:  Jordan/Jackson's Lost and Found is located in the west side of the cafeteria on the first floor.  Please have your child check this area frequently.  Three to four times a year, items remaining in Lost & Found are donated to a local charity.
